Hot Yoga is for all levels of experience. Take it easy, work at your own pace and listen to your body. Some aspects of our classes are repetitive, part of a set sequence which offers many advantages that challenge your body in new but familiar ways every week. This improves your focus and helps develop your own level of flexibility.
Each class focuses on different postures, these may include; hip opening, strengthening and arm balancing, forward bends, back bends and special movements that will calm the mind and strengthen the body.
As an experience, the classes incorporate an invigorating aroma of incense with upbeat music to further enlighten the ambience.

Coming from a background in fitness and health promotion, Vanessa is also a qualified spinning and fitness instructor as well as being a qualified Registered General Nurse.
Focusing her interest primarily into Hot Yoga she attended a 200-hour Hot Yoga training programme in America, Fort Lauderdale studying the Barkan Hot Yoga Method, which equipped her with the knowledge to understand and fully appreciate all the aspects of this type of practice and the advantages it brings working alongside any other sports or endurance type training where flexibility and stretching are paramount to maintaining performance and recovery.
Vanessa is also a qualified BSY Hatha Yoga Instructor and is a registered Yoga Alliance Member. She is a registered Adult General Nurse with a diploma in Health Studies (RGN dip h).

Bring a yoga mat or large towel and a bottle of water. We can also supply yoga mats at the venue.

I really enjoy Ness’ hot yoga class every Friday - It’s gentle, relaxing and a real treat being in a toasty room especially during the cold winter months. The heat also stretches the moves further which is a lovely feeling. Ness is a lovely, smiley, chilled yoga teacher and lets each person find their own pace. I would definitely recommend her class.
